About Sabrina, Yoga & Freediving Instructor

Founder & Instructor of La Casa Surya

Sabrina is the founder of La Casa Surya Freediving & Yoga school. Sabrina is originally from France but has been living in Asia for 10 years, before moving to Tulum in 2017.

In Asia, Sabrina became first a scuba instructor, traveling and exploring the wonders of the undersea world, and after a trip to French Polynesia it sparked the desire to learn freediving to realize her life’s dream and dive with Humpback whales. The desire and passion never died and paved the way to create La Casa Surya.

Sabrina is a now a proud member of The Molchanovs Education freediving System, developed by athletes freedivers for freedivers, with the goal to share the love of freediving with her students, by cultivating the level of knowledge and skill, and to provide the best freediving experience possible.

With more than 15+ experience in Yoga, teaching Yin, restorative, hatha, Vinyasa and ashtanga, Sabrina is now a Yoga medicine registered Specialist. Her teaching approach blends traditional yoga practices with extensive study in anatomy, physiology, sports training and therapeutics to create a practice that supports and empowers each individual.

Sabrina dedicates her full energy to La Casa Surya, it is clear to all her students that she loves what she does, sharing her passion her knowledge, in a supportive and nurturing environment! “Freediving is a beautiful and healthy sport if done with the right approach. Nayah & Dobby

Nayah & Dobby will be always there for giving a warm and friendly welcome!

At La Casa Surya, we believe in giving back to the community—not just to the people but also to the animals that share our home. Alongside a team of dedicated volunteers, we actively support Las Patitas El Cuyo, an initiative focused on neutering and caring for stray animals. Through sterilization clinics and awareness campaigns, we help reduce overpopulation and improve the well-being of local dogs and cats.
